In Malaysia, the weather is freaking hot and sunny. Many of my friends have chapped lips (me either). I've been doing some survey in the lips care and lips balm product in the market, but can't find the perfect lip care that really satisfy me.
First, I'm very particular at the texture of the lip balm. I hate those lip balm with oily texture which make me look like I didn't clean my mouth after eating oily chicken. (Yucks!). Second, I am sensitive to the smell of the lip balm. I want something that enhance the smell of my lips, instead of making my lip smell gross and artificial. Third, I want want lip balm to 'welcome' my lipstick. Many of the lip balm have the oil texture which do not 'welcome' the lipstick. I have problem applying my lipstick after applying them, which make me frustrated cause I want the freaking nice lip colour in my lips and that stupid lip balm is hating the lipstick and they make their fight on my pretty lips!
So, conclusion is, either you find a lipstick that can hydrated your lips and making a good lips colour at the same time, or you find a combination of lip balm and lipstick which they'll make out well, which I'll show you in a minute!
The secret of my Hydrated Lips~
I especially love the Maybelline's Baby Lips Lip Balm: It's a soft and not oily lips balm which don't make me frustrated after applying it. <3
1) First, apply the Maybelline's Baby Lips Lip Balm all around the lips.

2) Apply your favourite lip colour. I'm using SilkyGirl's Moisture Rich No. 24 Pure.

3) I love lip tint- from The Face Shop. It just add some gradient to your lips, which is very popular among Korean. Try it and you'll Love it!

| Just dab some in the inner corner of your lips. |
 |
| Press your lips together to blend them. |
 |
| Use your finger to blend the lips tint to the outer corner to give that gradient effect. |

4) EXTRA: Lip gloss (i'm using Nivea Lip Care)

| Press some of it out of the tube. |

| Take a little amount on your clean finger |
 |
| Blend it in ( Just DAB it) |
