SOP German Cuisine @ Paradigm Mall + 2015 Birthday

I have decided to keep my birthday post as the last entry of 2015
just because birthday is meant to be warm and beautiful
Everyone loves birthday, don't you? :)

This year birthday was really a tough and special one.
As I get the interview on my birthday! :)

I guess God has decided to let me wish myself good luck for the interview haha :)

And well, I passed, so wish came true! ^.^

That night,
Mom has decided that we celebrate my graduation and birthday together at SOP German Cuisine in Paradigm Mall.
So I tempted myself with beautiful dress, make up and hairdo :)

Before the hair's set :P

Paradigm Mall is so beautiful with Christmas decoration!
OMG I just LOVE Christmas! <3

Taking a selfie at the bathroom as I hadn't got the time to take a ootd before we left the house

Sophia and her family are here to celebrate for me as well!

Okay, before we had the meal,

E+ Photography

I know I am terribly late in updating my blog, as I have been busy with my interview and my holiday trip in Krabi.
Initially, I planned to update my blog once I came back from the trip
But unfortunately I fell sick right after the trip.
Later, I went to KL for a three days two nights with my parents to enjoy the Christmas Day.
Hoenstly, this was the most hectic and bizarre holiday I have ever spent.
I have even NOT properly celebrate my birthday,
not that I didn't celebrate it,
but I didn't have the mood and mental preparation on the day as I was preoccupied with the interview,
which fell EXACTLY on my birthday.
#ihavenoideawhattofeelreally

Anyway,
Today is a short update about my job as a make up artist
in collaboration with photographer Ericj Loo from Aurovisual.
I learnt make up before I went to the university,
and I haven't really got the chance to show my skills until Ericj got me the chance to do so.
This is practically the first shot with him
so we just choose some from the outcomes.
Hope you guys enjoy! ;)

我的少女时代 ‘My Times'

Hey there,
It's been such a long time since my last update but I have been catching dreams.
Finding my 'new-kind-of dream' in EleanorDreamLand.
Moving into a new lifestyle and place has make me changes a lot.
And being able to catch up with things that I like, things that I love is a lil bit harder now as my work place is restricted with limited kind of restaurants and attraction spots.
So I have been searching my new dreams and I found myself in the process of sorting out.
I hope I will not take too much time in this because I really wanna keep this blog alive.

Anyway, yesterday I went movie date with a bunch of my friends.
And we watched the current popular movie 'Our Times'
Honestly, I more of the kind of person who prefer movie with a great list of casts rather than small production movie.
It's not because that I chase after the celebrities, but I have always wanna avoid disappointment from the small production that starred by unknown celebrities. After all, I paid RM 17  for just a movie (It's hell high price dude!).
But this movie is a hit!
It's pretty good and I'm impressive with the casting. Nice plot with funny and touching scenes along the movie. It's worth a watch.

Today i am going to share with you guys about my 少女时代 , means my life when I was little.
Honestly, when i came to think about my childhood memories, I haven't got much interesting or dramatic memories. But I am willing to share a bit with you guys, that kinda related to the movie.

1) I was very ugly when I was young.
I know I shouldn't say the word but it's true. I am not pretty, and I  have super tan skin. I have people calling me Indonesian Girl when I was young. It simply just a joke for them, but it really hurts me a lot. I have round face, with small eyes. I don't know how to dress, or my way of dressing is not acceptable for my family. So I wear whatever clothes my mum has told me to wear. All of this has made me become really really low self-esteem. And I have been called a nerd.

2) I study hell lot
I don't actually like reading books. But I was forced to. I know I wasn't pretty, and in order to achieve something that people don't have, I decided to become the best in academic. People have good face, I have good grade. So I buried my face in books and books. So 'nerd' is my nickname. I don't like it but how do people care about my feelings? I didn't think too much about it, and keep reading until I became obsessed with books, which is a good thing for me now. :)

3) I don't have anyone admires me, but I secretly admire someone.
As you know,  I am the ugly duckling in school, so I am well aware that nobody even care to look at me. but I have admire a senior in my high school. For a very long time. We never really talk to each other, so I guess he only know my existence but nothing else. I always wanted to talk to him but I feel so shy and so low in confidence as he is an English-speaker while I haven't improved my English during that moment. What I can do is that I watched him secretly when he walked passed the corridor, or purposely sit at a corner that he will always walk through during the class. I have even attend a tuition class that will allow me to catch a glimpse of him when his class dismiss. All of the effort didn't pull us together. In fact, I've lost all of his contact. No phone number, and no friend request in Fb is yet to be accepted (for more than five years already).

4)  My high school life was pretty boring
So yea that's all for my high school life. All I do was study, read, and secretly admire people. I didn't have a super twist-and-turn kind of life with full of dramatic plots, but I believe my life has been blessed enough.

So how about yours? I would like to hear about 'Your Times'! :)

To end this post, I would like to share with you guys my new cover for the theme song from the movie
A Little Happiness 小幸运
Hope you guys like it!

Bean Thief Espresso Bar

It's her birthday today and I'd thought of updating this post that meant a lot to me :)

At the same time, I am going to share this lovely cafe with you.
It's called the Bean Thief Espresso Bar

I didn't remember to take a picture of the sign board but you can easily find this cafe in Waze or Google Map. :)
(Scroll till the end of this post for more info)

I super like this corner of the cafe that I insisted to take a photo with Jioveve.

and so, we were awkward while taking it :)

The whole theme of this cafe will be simple with grey and stones kinda thing.
I like the details they put on the displayed cupboard
and the lighting make the cafe look just nice. :)

Simple decoration with words are enough for the decoration.
More importantly, it's B&W that catches my eyes. :)

The cake we ordered.
(I'm sorry that I have forgotten the names since this happened long time ago)

This is definitely a cappuccino! :D
It tasted great!
I like the smoothness of the drinks,
and with the coffee taste just nice :)
Oh, not to forget about the beautiful latte art!

Jioeve's Caramel Latte
Quite sweet for me,
but the taste of caramel is definitely a plus point~!
Would recommend to those who prefers a sweet coffee.

I love every moment with her!
I enjoy and cherish them but I know sometimes I can be a lil hard to the people I care.
and I am most grateful to her that she always bear with my bad attitude.
Sorry babe, and thanks for everything! :)

Papa J's Kitchen, Kota Bharu

I'm in the utmost missing level while editing these pictures!

Just last month, we were having a great day celebrating Ni's birthday at Papa J's Kitchen,
and now we are apart from each other, having different kind of work life.

While sharing with you this wonderful moment,
I will also share with you this wonderful restaurant located in Kota Bharu, Kelantan.
It's the Papa J's Kitchen.

I have not been able to update my blog for quite a long while since I haven't got myself settle down in my new life.
I have been traveling from school to home quite frequently and it was tiring.
Spent more time on my work also my family this time since I haven't got the chance to real gather up with my parent for the past five years.
Guess I am trying to compensate before it's too late :)

Anyway,
Here comes the pictures taken when we were at Papa J's Kitchen.

I'll let the pictures do most of the talking,
and at the same time
I will, too, review this lovely restaurant.

In front of Papa J's Kitchen.
I know Papa J's Kitchen simply doesn't look like a restaurant.
but as the old one says, don't judge the book by its cover,
Papa J's Kitchen serves one the best western/American cuisine in KB town.

With lovely Esther before we walked in the restaurant.
(Oh I miss her loud laughing voice! :D)

Papa J's Kitchen is kinda like a household-theme kinda restaurant.
It is a cozy home dinning outlet serving western cuisine from a private home.
There's not much of decoration,
but it definitely gives you a feel of home.

A little decorations at their wardrobe to brighten up the scenery.

Fyi, if you are interested to pay them a visit,
You will have to book the time since there's only two table at once.
For more information, please scroll down to the end of this post. :)

With beautiful PS

With Michelle :)

With cute baby Chong. ^^

And not to forget,
the birthday girl, Ni. :)

Okay, here comes the appetizer, the mushroom soup
Although it was named 'mushroom' soup,
but I sense a lil potatoes in it.
The taste was mild,
definitely good to warm up the stomach before the heavy meal.

Michelle's and Ni's Teriyaki Salmon
Salmon was cooked in a good way and a good temperature.
It's crispy on the outside,
and soft on the inside.
It's a mouth-watering meal. :)

Ting's and Pei Si's Chicken Parmigiana
The typical Chicken Parmigiana, served with tomatoes,
and baked in a good way.
I didn't really remember the taste,
but I remember Ting said it was nice.
Probably because the smell of cheese was not too strong.
For me, I am more of a cheese person,
so this will not be in my favourite list.

Chicken Breast
stuffed with cheese, chicken ham and dried apricots
served with a Parmesan cheese sauce
(Yea it's a long name) :P
I enjoy this meal although I have only tried a bite of it.
The stuffed filling was so special especially the apricot!
Who has ever thought of this brilliant combination?!
A must try! :)

Seafood Aglio Olio
Frankly speaking,
I was a little bit disappointed by the looking.
I know I shouldn't judge it by the looking,
but I have always pay attention to the culinary art before I taste the food.
So I have actually cut down the mark as soon as it was served.
However,
the taste was good!
I am assuming the chef was really tired from cooking because we arrived there earlier than the booking time.
And he had to rush to cook so many dished.
And thus the last plate (mine) was served in a hurry.

Anyway,
I was simply overjoyed by the amount of the meal.
It really filled my up :)

Last,
we had ice-cream brownie as dessert.

We sang birthday song to Ni and forgot that the ice-cream is melting...

And so it looked 'stupid' :P

Overall, it was a pleasant experience in Papa J's Kitchen
The chef was really friendly and showed us quite a few of his masterpieces when he was working as a film director.
And he was kind enough to play guitar for us to sing the birthday song to Ni.
We were having so much fun together,
it's like a home :)

Miss you ol's :)
