How to Draw A Perfect Red Lips

Haven't been updating mah blog for quite a while cause I am so freaking busy with trip, camp, and performances!
So yah today is all about red lips!

RED RED is GREAT.

I have to tell you that doing red lips are damn freaking hard because:
1) You Don't want to look like a weirdo taking too much make up
2) You don't want to have a stain at your teeth
3) You don't want to let the red colour fade too quickly.

So here's a tutorial for a long lasting red lips!

Material used (from left): A concealer or a cream that are able to cover your imperfections, lip balm, lipstick, lipstain (alternative choice for lipstick), lipliner.

Before that, do some research for the perfect red lipstick look for yourself:
Penelope Cruz with wide and thick orange red lip colour

Rihanna with total defined lips

Megan Fox with vampire-ish lip colour, and undefined top lip.

Secondly, check out your own lips shape and determine which of the lips shape suit you better.

Tips: usually, the top lip should be thinner than the bottom lip.

So yah you may not look like those celebrities,
but you can definitely recreate their looks! :)

So first put on the foundation/concealer at the outer area of your lips.

Pad on the mineral powder/ two way cake.

Apply lip balm (if your lips are dry).

Line your lips to recreate the look that you want.

Fill up the inner lips with the same lip liner pen.

Apply the lipstick once your are satisfied with the shape.

Remember to fill up the side! :D

Check if this is the lips you want to create....

Define the shape to your desire shape.

For long lasting red lips, continue the steps below:
Use a piece of thin tissue paper, press against your lips with your mouth open, and pad on the powder.

Apply the powder at the side of the lips..

and also the lips itself
Reason: It makes the lips colour stay longer!!

Lip line again.

Lipstick again.

and
.
.
.
You are done!

So here are some tips for the problem usually faced when putting on red lips:

Problem: It looks like I am taking too much make up
Tips: Try to get something natural at your eyes. Gold, Bronze, Grey are red pretty couples. Avoid red, blue, orange, or green unless you wanna be a cartoon character.

Problem: I don't want to have stain at my lips!
Tips: Try this: Put your index finger at your mouth and pull it out. If you find some lips stick stain at your finger, that's the stain that is supposingly at your teeth So hoala you got them out from it! :)

Problem: I don't want the colour to fade out so quickly but I still wanna eat though haha xD
Tips: apply mineral powder or two-way-cake foundation at your lips after the first application of red lipstick (Just like what I've shown at the tutorial). Then reapply your lipstick once again. Redo the step if you wan but don't overdo it.

Hope your guys like it!
Try this and let me know what happened :)
